In spite of that I still had a longing to comprehend the text’s meaning and persisted in my search; whereby, in due course, one day I decided to start from the very beginning, and read the entire manuscript again; however, this time reading verse by verse s-l-o-w-l-y; from Genesis to Malachi. Day after day, I notably prayed for divine wisdom and guidance to grasp the answers to my puzzling questions. Ultimately, a revelation finally transpired, as though a light came on; showing clarity of the scriptures that began to come alive with excitement. The kind, gentleness of this magnificent power became magnificent and seemed to struggle constantly for a relationship and acceptance. In fact, I became overwhelmed with tears, numerous times during my study, to realize the intensity and determination this presence had and the rejection He/she endured. Unequivocally, the majority of the LORD’S assistance encompassed a multitude of unappreciative people, with terrible attitudes. Nevertheless, this transformation developed into a positive outlook within my being. For instead of viewing the prophets as delusional oppressors that were always threatening people; I assuredly experienced extreme sympathy and compassion for these misunderstood mighty men. Certainly, this request endures above any of one’s earthly partnerships, regardless of what involvement one may become associated with; for we persist as being divinely directed to be marriage partners with the LORD, as Jeremiah states that, “For I am married unto you…”Jer 3:14.
