Personal Narrative: My Body Mass Index

Decent Essays
My Body Mass Index is 21.2, at the normal weight range. There are times when I would gain or lose weight, but it never went above the normal weight range.
I am not an active person; however, over the past two years, I decided to exercise five days a week and 40 minutes everyday, except for the weekends. In one hour, I would do a 20 minutes warm-up consisting: 20 jumping jacks, 20 push-ups, 50 sit-ups, 10 bicycle crunches, and 10 power lunges. Every Mondays, after my warm-ups, I would walk for one mile under 16 minutes. Tuesday to Thursdays are days that I can walk or play sports after my daily warm-ups. Every Fridays, I would run a mile in under 12 to 11 minutes.
In total of all the minutes that I spend in doing moderate-intensity exercise

I have learned a lot about nutrition so far over the course of this semester. This diet analysis project was probably the thing that I have least looked forward to having to complete. I know my diet is poor, I figured I ate too many bad foods, but I didn 't expect it to be lacking essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients in so many different areas. It 's truly amazing to see foods I thought were "complete" and "good" for me, aren 't really, and may actually hinder me in the quest for a truly healthy diet.…

We both chuckled and parted ways. Then, I started thinking that if I really wanted to eat healthy then it is worth paying the price.…
