Everyone we ever encounter has a passion for something in their life, whether they're are open about it or not. It can be crotchet, sports, reading, or, one of the most popular passions, music. We can't help but share it with whomever we come into contact with. Just being able to share your passion and having those you care about experience it with you is such an amazing thing to witness. Our walk as Christians should be just like sharing our passions, except in this case, the gospel is our passion.
Why is it that we have no issue talking about things we love yet we hesitate to mention the one we love, and who loved us unconditionally? Many people came through searching for help and guidance. It wasn't always easy to meet needs or get through to someone. It made me realize that, as humans, we are such hard-headed, stubborn people that we don't always make it easy for God to get through us. That reminder has allowed me to gain patience and confidence to serve others in order to serve Christ. Focusing on God in that way has allowed me to join my brothers and sisters in Christ in impacting the lives of others. A lot of my dedication was due to the amazing group of mentors I had surrounding me. Some came from my church, others from my community, regardless, they were always there to make sure I kept my eyes focused on Christ, step out of my comfort zone, and keep me accountable. Just as Jesus' disciples gathered together to help him serve, we gather with as much willingness as they did. Even with the trials we go through, every ounce we dedicate to Christ is nothing compared to the blood he shed for us. For us as Christians, to live is Christ and to die is gain (Philippians
