My Trip to Florida

Last summer my family and I went to Florida. First when we started to pack, everything popped out of the bag. Since that didn’t work we decided to pack our own bag, this way we had extra space to pack our toys. When we went to the airport it was amazing! There were pictures and portraits, and they were sparkling with glitter.
Next we went in the plane. It was so cool! When we were launching I was so scared. After that, I looked out the window and the view was wonderful. I could even see the school! When we arrived at the Florida airport, I was sleeping. My parents woke me up, and we went outside only to see an incredible site.
In Florida we stayed at a hotel, for about a week. My family enjoyed shopping and going

It was a bright summer morning in Big Cypress, Florida. The green palm trees were swaying and the bright blue rivers were peaceful. The long and large alligators were swimming. You could see them bobbing up and down, so all of the tourists could take quick pictures of them. There was a steady flow of people going in and out of the small, worn down nature center.…

Florida, a place where the weather is always good and the beaches are beautiful. Not for me though, I’m not some pessimist who hates sunshine or anything. I just have lived in it for so long, every year getting hotter and more humid. As the years “grated” on the only reason I could stand living there was because of my two best (and only friends). The 11 month summers were the worst parts.…

We went to dinner and our way back we stopped at a store where me and my brother, Race brought a giant blow up alligator. After we got it blown up we got to go to the pool at our hotel and try it out. While we were in the pool playing…

My sister, my mom, and I all got up very early on a crisp Thursday morning, and drove to the airport. We went through security, which was very fast because we were the only ones there, waited for a bit at the terminal, then boarded the plane. As our jet slowly accelerated into takeoff, I recall feeling very excited to be going to Orlando, but also quite nervous for the upcoming performance. We flew for a couple hours, then had a short layover, then we flew a little more. With a whoosh and a bump, our plane finally landed in Orlando, Florida.…

T is for Texas I remember the day that my mom and my dad told my siblings and me that we were going on a vacation to Texas. It was like nothing I had ever seen or experienced before, an out of body experience, an “out of the world” kind of sight. The day I had anxiously and impatiently been waiting for. The day I finally get out of the miserable, dull and lifeless town I had spent 18 years of my pathetic life growing up in. Some called it home, however to me, it was just plain old Ravenswood. Todays the day I finally begin living.…

The summer of 2001 I boarded my first plane to Orlando, Florida. I remember looking through the large glass windows and watching the planes with mixed emotions. At 5 years old riding a plane felt intimidating and foreign to me because I did not know much people my age who ever traveled by plane. However I was excited to make way to Florida to see Disney World, the top tourism destination for children all across America. Although it was a domestic flight from Connecticut to Florida this is where my love for traveling begun.…

The rest of the family met us there and we all went through bag check and all that cool, fun stuff you do at the airport. The plane ride was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had, and offered the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen. We rode the plane to Houston, Texas, which was a two hour ride. While some of the family members took a nap, I gazed out the window and stared at the cotton ball clouds and patches of land. From Houston, we took a bus down to Galveston where the cruise ship was docked.…
