Isn’t it quite ironic how I avoided the dentist and now I’m trying to become one? How does a child go from being afraid of the profession to admiring the career? My passion for dentistry started at a young age. When I was young, part of my life I felt like I was trap in a box with indestructible walls closing in on me. I felt suffocated by criticism, embarrassment, and loneliness. When I was 10 years old, I was picked on for having a missing tooth. Since I was judged by a process that was considered natural for a child. So, it became second nature to hide my imperfections.
