Coming down the stairs and facing my close minded parents to tell them of the University of Glasgow ended as expected. My father had left after screaming about how stupid I am and that if I pursued this school, I should never expect any help from them ever again. My mother quietly agreed with my father and said, after he left, that they would not help with loans or financial aid. This, if anything, caused me to fight for this school even more.
I would like to attend the University of Glasgow because this school can do the most for me. Instead of eventually traveling to a few places later on in life, I can start now and receive the skills I need to be successful while I'm at it.
