What are the judges thinking? Are we all in time? Are our feet in time? Do we look good as a whole? Do not mess up. There are so many thoughts, but yet to the crowd all they see is a beautiful band performing their show for everyone to see. Throughout the show, we get tired and may have a pain somewhere, but we all push through for one another so that we can get a good outcome. EXPLAIN As each part of the show goes by, we are closer to being done. We can hear the audience applauding and cheering for us, making us feel like we are doing well. As the show comes to an end, I get to make my way to the top of our mountain. SHOW At the top of the mountain, I look out at the band and the crowd and then the band turns and looks at me. As we arrive at the buses, we are set at a halt and then the directors say relax. We then gather around all the directors for them to give us an overall thought of the show. They always have something good to say even if it was not our greatest show. Then after they are done, we normally get to change back into our normal clothes. After changing, we walk back into the stadium to sit in the stand until awards. Sometimes we sit in the stands for awhile, other times we only sit through a few bands. When our classes’ awards are being announced, our band stands up, at parade rest. We listen through all of the awards hoping we did well and will win some of the categories. There is always a different outcome to the competitions, but normally it is good and we end up taking home a few trophies. After awards we all walk back to the busses and load to go home. Overall, competition days are long and tiring, but there are so many amazing memories created during them and will be remembered
