I grew up with my parents Pedro and Elica and my siblings Mike, Philip,John,Pam in Tucson,Arizona. I went to Salpointe high school and Noter dame girls high school.i had gotten my permit for diving as soon as i turned 15. Driving was my favorite thing, i had freedom and was able to so so many things.I had a boy i loved, he was black so my family didn't like him. They never allowed him in the house which was a problem,but you can image that it didn't work out. I had worked at a dairy queen for awhile till the manger had found out i was mexican and i got fired. Racism was one challenges I faced growing up. JFK and Martin luther king Jr. where my role models,because they both brought peace. Fitting in and being liked took over my life growing up. I had always worried about my appearance, I had always worn bell bottom pants, peasant shirts, or anything with flower print on it. The clothes were in style but something felt out of style.
