Taking back my time and sanity
After a failed attempt of a vacation, thanks to a micromanaging boss, I quit my job to think about my purpose in this world. During my little sabbatical, I stumbled onto freelance writing. Intrigued, I decided to learn more about it.

I began to fees as though freelancing was a struggle-filled business. Being the headstrong person that I am, I kept at it, and finally put a plan together. Freelancing isn't hard, I was just trying to run a marathon before I could even crawl!
It's not about the Benjamin's
For me and many others like myself, we're not driven by only money (but if you are, that's ok too!). Part of my problem was that I was chasing money rather than companies who's values reflected my own. As such, I promptly made a 180 and began attracting clients that were right for me. Coincidentally, my first 2 years in the workforce inspired the very niche I write in! I write about HR and leadership topics because I want to contribute to helping the workforce improve for everyone.
