Self-Evaluation In the fourth year review, according to the Copley Library Appointment, Rank, and Tenure Policy, “the candidate’s professional goals should include such evidence as a record of publication, progress in research projects, involvement in conference programs, and committee responsibilities” (p. 10). This self-evaluation provides a highlight of my accomplishments according to the four criteria and a reflection upon my strengths, my challenges, and my future plans. My aspiration is that this dossier will bring to light my reflection on prior recommendations and demonstrate my progress. Two of the essential components in my position as Reference Librarian and Coordinator of Instruction are reference work and information…

I only scored 50% in the Political Self-Assessment and that tells me that I need to be more aware of the health-related issues on a local and national levels. As of now, I think that my engagement in health policy development is subpar and that I need to step up my game. Honestly, I have never been interested with politics until I became an FNP student. I still have a long way to go but I know that this course will help me become more engaged with health policies, which in turn would assist me in becoming a better care provider.…

Keeping my three personal and professional goals realistic, I would have to say a personal goal is to finish school at SNHU with a 3.0 GPA or above. I think a way for me to accomplish this goal is to stay focused on the tasks at hand, maintain a good relationship with my advisors and to utilize some of the tutoring options that are available to me as a student. Another personal goal is to work on myself, mentally. I cannot be a good mom or wife when I have the stress, anxiety and depression that I do. A way to help accomplish this goal is to not only start speaking with a psychiatrist (first appointment is August 4th) but to also have my thyroid checked.…

As our course went on and I started to understand business some more I then realized why there were certain things that were shaping my views about my jobs. One big thing that I noticed was the team work at my jobs.…

The results of my stress self-assessment are I have a moderate to high chance of becoming ill in the future. One stress factor that I would modify is my eating habits. During the past year I have tried to maintain a healthy diet and exercise often. Sometimes this goal causes me to feel stressed because I feel pressure to follow a certain diet. What precipitates my stress is the lack of communication with my husband and the need I have to be heard. The lack of communication between my husband and I makes me feel alone and in a way I resent him for it. I also get angry, but a lot of this anger is geared toward me; although I would love to have someone I can talk to, I do not want to play the role of the victim or depend on the feedback from others to feel better. As a result, most of the times I end up bottling everything up, which exacerbates the problem and my imagination, take over and I immediately go to the worst possible scenario, and negative though.…

Engaging students in the process of identifying standards and/or criteria by which their work, and that of their peers, will be judged; and 2. When participating in an online, self-paced university such as University of the People you need to be a self-directed, intrinsically motivated, active learner. In order to be successful at that you need to possess several key character traits. Of these traits two of the most important in my opinion is to have self-discipline and the ability to take initiative. When participating in University of the people, it’s a lot different from a traditional brick and mortar school. At a traditional university or college, you attend class in person, you discuss a specific topic that day, and you are given a specific assignment that may be due the next day.…
