They claimed that Tarkara, a calf, was really twelve years old. Also, Kalina, a four and a half year old, was taken away from her mother. No matter what age they still took a baby away from their mother. SeaWorld said they do not separate the mothers and calves. They counterclaim that the film, Blackfish used former trainers who had little experience so it was unfair for them to bash SeaWorld. Also, they used animal rights activists instead of scientist who obviously going to say that it is inhumane. In addition, they made the film focused on Dawn Brancheau 's death. The opening of the film, it 's the sound of a 911 call but never specified that it was Brancheau 's case.
