In conclusion, Jack and the tribe should be tried with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Simon and Roger should be tried with murder in the second degree for the death of Piggy. Both of these defendants have sufficient evidence to be convicted of their respective accusations. Roger knew exactly what he was doing when he pushed the boulder thus making him fully responsible in Piggy’s death. On the flip-side, no one person holds full guilt in Simon’s death due to the madness of their situation and the absence of logical thought and reasoning.
