That means that for every two students, one will be three times more likely to inflate an insurance claim and one and a half times more likely to cheat on their spouse in the future according to an infographic created by Loreal Lynch on Schools.com. In the article, “How Will Cheating in School Affect the Rest of Your Life,” Christopher Cascio claims that students cheat because they don’t understand the material taught, or because of the simple fact that their peers do it. Cascio explains his thoughts when he says “you might begin to question why you put forth full effort while others simply cheat and achieve the same academic accomplishments, and so you might begin to cheat as well”. What these students who cheat don’t know, is that cheating is detrimental in the long run because the things you learn in school will help you in the future, and if you cheat while learning those topics you will never be able to fully understand them or apply
