To survive, polar bears require the cold and snow of the arctic, hence the name “polar bears”. Polar bears have little to no natural threats in their habitat, and are in fact at the very top of the food chain. Polar bears aren’t threatened due to poaching or predation, they are threatened by us. Humans treating the earth as if its something that we can take for granted indefinitely.
