What are the positive effects of technology to the education?

According to Pew Internet Project’s research related to technology, 58% of American adults have a smartphone, 32% owns an e-reader and 42% owns a tablet. This is the research for the adults, but children nowadays also owns smartphones and tablets just like the adults. How these technologies affect the education? With the increased use of technology, teachers and students are demanding to use the technology in teaching and learning. In the past, teachers used whiteboard in the classroom, but nowadays we can see the using of interactive whiteboards are getting wider. Technology advances show people a more efficient way to manage things, and these processes generate results. For instance, education has been greatly boosted by the technological advances of computers. Scholars are able to find out on a global scale without ever leaving their classrooms. Applied science in education plays an important part in bettering the educational accomplishments and knowledge of the citizenry. This is really important, especially those who demand to improve their knowledge in order for them to reach a successful life in the hereafter. Other than that, technology in education is manifested through the use of computers. This is likewise a big aid for teachers since they can already enhance their instruction accomplishments and strategies every time they are facing their class. This technology is very essential for both the students and the teacher, but there are some instances wherein this technology is seen to be disadvantageous for both of them as well.
