History of present illness This is a 40-year-old Hispanic female who states that she has been having a hard time walking on her left leg and has noticed that her left calf has been swelling for past couple of days. She first noticed it a couple of days ago and she thought it could be because she has been walking a lot for the past few days. The patient states that the pain starts when she is walking, and she is having hard time baring weight on it. She reports the pain 7/10 on pain scale and describes it as dull ache that is radiating through her left leg. Pain is aggravated by walking and alleviated by nothing. The patient reports swelling and tenderness in the left leg. The patient states that there is not a specific time when the pain started.
