Our partner in the fight against hunger, Jewish Family & Community Services (JFCS), runs a food pantry that caters to the needs of over 8,600 people in five counties. JFCS annually serves about 77,000 meals to low-income adults and families who struggle with hunger. In addition, the JFCS provides referrals to other community programs than can provide housing, clothes, childcare and health care, among other things (Cravey, 2015).
