Because the idea behind process philosophy is that nothing is permanent and the Biblical supernatural does not exist, thus God is non-existent the original philosophy of marriage has changed. Therefore, as the idea surrounding the foundation of marriage has changed, the effects on family have been significant, to say the least. Without God, there is no guidance, no law or structure in which to live by and the concept of the true meaning and thus the foundation of marriage is broken. As process philosophy contends that God is non-existent and constant change are to be expected the effects of this on marriage is profound. Therefore, it is evident that the changes that we have seen are only the beginning and these influences will only continue to propel further change. The idea that God is non-existent has become more common and the desire to remove God from every area in society is becoming more and more accepted. However, our God has given us free will and therefore, the choice is there to make. However, without God, there is no guidance and thus no law and the ultimate conclusion will result in chaos. Although, change can and will happen throughout our lives and we may have to adapt to situations, our faith in God should be consistent and without change.
