With the only reason that 's come up with is that a person should not be allowed to choose who lives or dies. That argument holds no grounds because as a society those who are deemed a danger are as a collective only a hi detente to the life of those who want to live a quiet life. Wanting to get rid of the death penalty will only increase the jail population and as such will create chaos within the prisons and produce more victims witching the prison. To put trust in one 's government is the epitome of a good society but with the unknown variables that life holds few to many people are put into death row and because of this many people who are against the death penalty tend to go overboard and say that it is the government 's fault that the evidence towards an innocent person was useless but it 's not the fault of the whole but of the court process alone. With large percentages of people saying that they are guilty not because they are but because it 's cheaper and easier to say yes to guilty and taking only a few years of punishment. This process is very common and the main reason why many court meetings aren 't even done in a court. So it is the court 's fault for processing false guilty charges. In the end putting one’s belief on the government is the right thing to do but when problems that arise from time and money issues critical decisions occur and things like innocents in the death penalty happen.
In the end the death penalty is not such a big problem little of the flak that is gotten from the murder of criminals is only from a moral obligation of wanting to be superior and being on a moral high ground but that is what America is about.
