I can use the information about Peter Tchaikovsky’s early musical life to describe what music was like during the Enlightenment period. Major aspects of the Enlightenment period will be discussed and since music is a major component of that period, information about Peter Tchaikovsky will be most beneficial. With the information about Peter’s homosexuality, I will be able to elaborate with my classmates on the idea that being homosexual impacts a person’s life and has been doing so since at least the nineteenth century—it is not a new struggle. Finally, I will be able to use the famous compositions of Peter Tchaikovsky to explain to my classmates who he is. For example, he is the composer of the Nutcracker Suite—a very well-known ballet.
