They wouldn’t last long against the german rampage for much longer, and at the most they had 15 minutes at the most. Williams tapped Pvt. Parts on the back while he was occupied with defending a narrow corridor. He had racked up a considerable number of kills already, as his alley was starting to fill with lifeless corpses of the stormtroopers. “I need you to cover our escape!, Williams shouted directly into his ear as loud as he could. “We have to get out of here!”, and he grabbed Parts and shifted him left and shouted, “We’re making a run for it in 10 seconds!”, grabbing his gun and preparing for the dash. He tapped Lansigg on the shoulder and said, “We got to get out of here or else we won’t come back in one piece!”, pointing Lansigg to their destination. Williams prepared to run, aiming for a 3 story apartment building diagonally from them and about 50 meters from them. It offered them plenty of cover should they make it, and it was practically untouched from the devastating hurricane bombardment a few days ago. If they were to take the apartment, they could defend from there and fall back to the railroad and eventually, the great cathedral. But that was only if they could make it.
