In a book, we read in our class entitled “Raising Elijah” by SS we learned about the many dangers around us. But more relevantly, she gave us tips on how to decrease our Co2 output, three to be specific. We can grow a garden to get our own food and make plants that take in small amounts of Co2. We can also stop using gas-powered lawn mowers for their output of Co2. Lastly, we can never use your dryer, she says that clothes line drying is more energy efficient and it is. First taking a bike instead of a car, some people need cars because of long distance jobs and I encourage them to use public transportation. Another simple thing that could be changed is your use in power, turn off lights when not home, don't watch TV more often. All of my tips will help the reduce your carbon footprint but if you were to chose any of the three, I would hope you choose to use public transportation because this tip will have the most impact on your carbon output.
