Rocky lived in Harlem, New York his whole life and grew up around hip hop music. At the age of eight Rocky learnt how to rap from his brother; his brother was later shot dead when Rocky was thirteen years of age. It's safe to say Rocky lived a hard life, he was forced to move from homeless shelter to homeless shelter with his mum and younger sister throughout his adolesence and sold drugs to earn money for his family. Love. A$AP he was approached by numerous record companies and in October signed a 2 year, $3 million record deal with RCA Records and Polo Grounds Music. Since then his career has taken off and he is highly renowned; in 2012 Rocky was nominated for BBC'S Sounds of 2012 and has started his own label called A$AP Worldwide. After his new found fame he released his first album called Long. Live. A$AP, this album was supported by four singles, "Goldie", "Fuckin' Problems", "Wild for the Night" and "Fashion Killa". Since then he has also released another album called At. Long. Last. A$AP, this album was supported with three singles, "Lord Pretty Flacko Jordye 2 (LPFJ2)", "Everyday" and "L$D".
