Reality television has been maintained its prevalence for over a decade.
This form of entertainment has influenced American Culture to rank high ratings if there is more drama and conflict. Today I will be discussing a couple of points that document reality television’s good and bad effect on the viewer’s lifestyle.

i. Plastic surgery has always been a key to beauty, and many viewers that saw shows like “Extreme Makeover” wanted to take the risk of going under the knife. ii. II. We watch them because they make us feel some type way.

b. Reality shows can inspire other type of behavior depending on the show. i. For instance, the party scene the Jersey Shore depicted was very popular, and many mimicked the fist pump. ii. Other shows, like the Kardashians shows the lavish life of a family and their conflicts, yet we buy into majority of what they promote.
