I consider this product to be a convenience good since it entails being frequently bought by customers catching up time or resting in the coffee shop. The coffee sold to the customers is also not very expensive. The price has been set to be affordable and moderate compared to the other coffee shops in the locality. The shop holds opportunities in two key areas, one of these areas is in the fact that Redondo Beach, CA is a region that has been growing steadily economically and socially; this portends greater sales and the potential increase in the number of customers. Secondly, the café has the prospects of growth in the sale of complimentary products to coffee such as snacks; if these snacks are produced in-house, they can greatly supplement income. Finally, the café has two major threats, one of the threats is the aspect of product cost of coffee beans, and the fluctuations in the cost of coffee products will have a direct impact on the prices of coffee. In this regard, while the café seeks to offer coffee at the fairest prices, the cost of the products may affect the end user. The second threat is that of new entrants into the market, the threat, in this case, is that there are many coffee shops currently, the entry of additional competition may further affect prices and destabilize the customer

The argument given is flawed based on many unwarranted assumptions. Primarily, the argument assumes that the locales for which the demand for artisan coffee went up are the same where Apex Corporation are releasing their new brand of coffee. The entire argument may turn out to be invalid if the locations of advertising and the locations of increased demand for coffee have no common intersection area. The argument begins with an extremely vague assumption that the new line of coffee, 'Gourmet Select', is the same type of artisan coffee whose demand went up. It is possible that this new line of coffee is of type A and the demand went up for type…

In a busy life we have as customers we tend to search for product that make our life easier such as having a cup of coffee in an instant. In order for a business to make a profit, it should recognize the need and want of customers and be able to supply the demand for it (Lamb, Hair, & McDaniel, 2017). The recent product I bought is a Keurig brewer that can brew a coffee, tea, chocolates or other beverage. It can be considered as a shopping or a specialty product and can be easily found locally in retail chains such as Walmart, Target, Macy, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Kohl’s to name a few. In addition, you can even buy it online such as Amazon and QVC.…

A shift on the supply demand curve will have an effect on the pricing of coffee, as supply increases the price of coffee will decrease. The increase of coffee supply from 1997/8 to 1998/9 is an example of this, using data collected by the ICO, as supply increased from 99,550 (in thousand 60kg bags) in 1997/8 to 108,858 (in thousand 60kg bags) in 1998/9 this can be explained due to an increase in suppliers with the addition of Yemen, Guyana and Loa. The increase in coffee supplying countries will effect total production by adding to the market, simultaneously additional competition in the market will encourage other exporting countries to further increase their productivity and therefore supply. In this recommendation it is said that the café could be opened in the children's book section and it is assumed that it will empower the bookstore to against a business competitor that recently opened its own café. Although the expected results of this recommendation could be achieved, there are some presuppositions that should be re-examined in order to enrsure that this recommendation renders the predicted outcome. Firstly, it is unclear that if the opening of the café could actually impact on the increase of the already large customer base of Monarch Books.…
