There are several ingredients that make up energy drinks and many people aren’t aware what it is doing to the inside of their body. Long term abuse of energy products such as Red Bull, Full Throttle, Vault, Amp or Monster will increase the risk of developing caffeine addiction, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, or sleep apnea. If we keep the product out of the reach of children and teens by setting a buying age restriction, it will lower the chances of the minors suffering from health problems related to energy drinks.
In all fairness, I believe the companies who make these products should still be able to do so. Although these energy drinks have been known to cause major health problems, a sip of the drink shouldn’t hurt if you’re really tired and need it.
