Labrador retrievers are good hunting dogs as well as mans’ first most popular companion in the U.S. The labrador retriever was first bred for water sports like retrieving water fowl and ect. The labrador retrievers are high energy dogs that hunters use because of their flat dense double coat which is very water repellent. They also have a tail that is well known as the “ otter tail” and their webbed feet which aids them very well when in the water. These are just a few of the things that make a Labrador a Labrador
