A: This one is easy, a shark attack is the term used to describe when a shark acts upon a human. Every year only 75 attacks are reported worldwide. Even though there are many attacks a year, people are still very scarred to get in the water especially after major attacks, such as the Jersey Shore attacks of 1916, and many films such as Jaws.
