I would say the worst part was having to call my mother to explain to her that I was in a car accident a couple blocks from the house in her car. When she answered she instantly started to yell thinking it was my fault until I told her what happened. My mom then had to find a ride from someone to rush over to the location I was at. She arrived and the first thing she does is look at the car, but wasn’t too upset anymore because the bumper was already cracked from another accident. My mother walked up to the girl’s car to see the damage but didn’t have nothing wrong with it. My mother then seen she was pregnant and calmed down from being angry. She told the girl to go to the hospital and to rest and make sure the baby was alright. We weren’t going to call the cops or involved insurance because there was no damage to the cars. I told my mother that I just wanted to hurry home to lay down. On are short car ride home I sat in the passage seat thinking about the car accident and how dangerous distracted driving can be. After that point I instantly was thinking about the lesson that I learned from the situation that just happened. I learned that it is never a great idea to take eyes off the road for even a second. The lady being on her cellphone was not a great idea. It ended up being a dangerous encounter involving someone that was not distracted.
