“Wisely and slow; they stumble that run fast”, proclaimed by Friar Lawrence the Priest in Shakespeare’s play, Romeo and Juliet. These words are telling us to make wise and slow decisions and not rush into them because they can lead to tragic outcomes. This is indeed presented by the main characters: Juliet, Romeo and Lord Capulet who, by their poor, hasty choices brought at the end the death of Romeo and Juliet and other characters throughout the play. In this Shakespeare’s tragedy, the characters made rushy (ruched/rapid) choices even on situations that needed to be seen through and those leaded to bad consequences.
