When Rosa parks was younger, she struggled with the lack of racial equality. When Rosa's parents separated she and her mother moved to Alabama. Her mother taught how to read at a young age, then later went to a school called Pine Level. When they went there they had to walk to school and they created a separate school for whites.

After her parents separated her and her mother moved to pine level and lived on her grandpa and grandmas farm. Rosas whole childhood was influenced from segregation from things like bathrooms, drinking fountains, education and transportation. As a child her grandfather told about how times when white men and women were nice to her family and other African Americans. The day rosa parks didn't move from her seat on the Montgomery bus sparked a movement no one would ever forget. Rosa never stood alone she had a lot of people in here family influencing her throughout her child to to take a stand and stand up for herself. When she got arrested people started to boycott the bus and the boycott lasted for 381 days. Rosa parks was deeply influenced by the murder of Emmett till which happened only four days before her arrest.Rosa parks was inspired a lot by Martin Luther king jr. During civil rights times. She as the proud of her getting arrested but she lived we all live. It was one of the worst days of rosa parks life when got arrested. But she hoped that someone could take a step up and do what she did but she believes no one has yet.Rosa parks strived for a goal that is still trying to be achieved today. In 2005 we lost this wonderful person and role model and it changed the whole world. So many people looked up to her but she got diagnosed with progressive dementia. When she passed away Detroit reserved 3 rows with black ribbons because to honor all black people and it was reserved for
