Rudy hated to go home with his left ear bleeding and his right eye almost closed. Once again, he had another dreadful day at school. It all started when he walked in to school twenty minutes late, wearing his extra short pants and the ugliest sweater he owns. “Today is going to be a good day, but I hope I don’t get a detention for being late,” he thought as he shuffled inside quickly.
