The first external force that Sal experiences ,is between Sal and the move .Sal had to move to move three hundred miles strait to Euclid ,Ohio. “Just over a year ago my father plucked me up like a weed and took all of our belongings (no,that’s not true he didn’t take the chestnut tree,the willow,the maple,the hay fort ,or the swimming hole ,and that all belonged to me ) and we drove three hundred miles and stopes in front of a house .”the reason why I chose this quote was because it shows how Sal has to adapt to living Euclid ,Ohio instead of bybanks ,Kentucky
