Saddam Hussein, non-U.S. president, was in charge of Iraq for two decades. Saddam and his family were known by many as ruthless and unfair. Senator of California Leland Yee strongly supported gun control. By saying he wants to restrict guns, one would assume he would follow the gun laws already in place, right? Contrary to that belief, Leland Yee was found buying firearms and shoulder launching missiles from an Islamic extremist group. He was caught breaking gun laws when trying to sell these weapons to an undercover FBI agent.
Even the current president of the United States, Barack Obama, has said things to the public and then did the opposite. Obama once stated, “I am in this race to tell the corporate lobbyists that their days of setting the agenda in Washington are over.” Amazingly enough, Obama ended up with almost forty lobbyists from the former administration.
