Throughout the time spent with Jacks mother she didn’t teach him the correct values and norms as she struggled to cope by herself due to his serve condition that he was unable to communicated in the right way. Jack was a happy child who got very frustrated with not being able to express how he was feeling, this led him to be aggressive towards people. He became his sole guardian giving him the correct love and support to help ease some of the frustration from jack. After a short few months there was a massive difference in Jack’s behaviour, able to demonstrate gestures of how he was feeling and what he was needing.
This was jacks primary socialisation which was his family his mother and father.
Secondary socialisation is how we are influenced by different types of services; media, care services, education, different groups. As a child grows up he comes into contact with more aspects of society than the family, and these are responsible for secondary socialisation.
Education provided through the school system is the second main socialising influence
