Self-Paid Patients: A Case Study

one of Sor scheduled call me few minutes ago asking me the same question and I advise her if the patient came to see the regular Dr. and any specialyst provider we can schedule the appointment but the schedules needs to advise the patient that 2 different copayments will be collected since is two different visits. Also I advise the person if the patient has HMO insurance or Highmark insurance we need to make sure that the patient has the referral from the primary DR. this exeption is only for insurance patients that this not applied to self paid patients.
