Senior year is one that should be unforgettable. It is the one where you start to realize who you are and some find out who they want to become. We grow to know one another as a family, an East High Blue Ace family. High school has taught me countless lessons, like being the most popular is not important at all, getting to know the people you thought you would never talk to is a very favorable experience, and never waste a second on someone who wouldn’t take a bullet for you. There truly is a friend for everyone, you just have to reach out and step out of your comfort zone. Although we grow apart and go our separate ways, we will never forget the moments of celebration and traditions, the reflection of who we once were, and who we are inspired to become.
The celebration of graduating is such a great accomplishment, we have completed thirteen years of nightly homework, reading, practices, and jobs. Although it was all worth it and what we carry with us when we are out of East High is a treasure that no one could ever forget. The celebration of studying every night trying to earn that college credit, but wondering if it is genuinely even worth it, knowing exactly what I want to do in my future, and leaving with never failing a class has been all such a valuable accomplishment. Senior class pictures, our last prom, picking up our cap and gowns, stressing over anatomy tests, and battling severe senioritis makes me reflect on the things I have and have not done yet.
