Serial Killer Vs Mental Illness

How does one tell the difference between someone who is mentally ill and is a serial killer? The answer could never truly be told. Mental illnesses are defined as the change in one’s mood, thoughts and actions, while a serial killer looks for the indulgence of killing multiple people. Even though some cases of serial killers were known to have a mental illness that doesn’t mean everyone who is mentally ill is a serial killer. Even though most people think that having a mental disability makes some crazy and more likely to become a serial killer, I feel that it just changes how we see people.

People should have more knowledge of serial killer to learn signs that are showed. People should also know more about mental disorders to know the symptoms so that no one is judge wrong without the correct knowledge. Some of the ways these issues can be fixed is more knowledge about both of them there really is no cure for these mental illnesses and finding out ways to help people with them could make a huge difference. Another way is to learn more about what goes on in the mind of serial killers. Learn about what happened and there childhood and life after that. Let people know of the different warning signs and changes people go through, and never give up on that person because they already have so much going on that they probably don’t understand there self.
