In Gen 3, Adam and Eve eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. “then the LORD God formed the man out of the dust of the ground and blew into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being” (Gen 2:7) The man and animals both originated from the ground, which makes them related. This relation is similar to how human sin affects both man and animal because they are all united. Primeval History suggests that people and creation are all linked because both have a cause and effect towards the other. This idea is shown by the story of Adam and Eve and how their sin causes all of creation to be banished from the garden of Eden. This idea is also shown by the story of Noah’s Ark and how man’s sin caused all of creation to be destroyed.
