Just like any other product it becomes popular because of social media or famous people promoting it. Everyone believes it when they see before and after post, but don’t know the truth behind the product
INGREDIENTS
The Skinny Tea website shows few ingredients but doesn’t show all.
Tea leaves, Senna leaf, ginseng, chrysanthemum, cinnamon bark, cloves, rhubarb, ginger, and more.

Senna is an herb and is used to treat constipation.
It is known for a strong laxative effect.
It is recommended not to consume Senna leaf for more than two weeks.
People would think that Senna would cause no harm sense it’s a plant, but it does have effects after consuming.
Short term: effects include stomach discomfort, diarrhea and cramps. (Senna, WebMD).
Long term: it changes the amount or balance of some chemicals in the blood, causes heart function disorders, muscle weakness, liver damage, and other harmful effects. (Senna, WebMD).
