Understanding the demographics and consumers personas has helped identify the social media platforms with the highest concentration of the target audience. The types of personas identified within the technographic profile also aided in the selection of social media platforms. Specifically, since the majority of adults between ages 18-34 tend to spectate, join or criticize brands, BT needs to concentrate on those platforms such as the Community Forum and Facebook that have the highest percentage of negative sentiment. In addition, since the majority of consumers use Facebook, which has a high joiner percentage, and YouTube, which has a low following but high viewership, BT needs to concentrate on these platforms to engage and connect with consumers.

Since each social media platform will cover different types of content such as video sharing, instant messaging, training and discussions, measures must be taken to ensure quality and creditability. The following steps will be taken to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and multiplicity of content distributed:
• Development: A cross functional team will conduct analysis of current content on all sites. Specific needs will be identified based information gathered from monitoring to help in the development of content based on the sentiment of each platform.
• Management: Social media content will be edited before distribution. Consumer content will be monitored to ensure discussions are on topic and follow guidelines.
• Cross promotion: Leverage existing content that can intertwine with other platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and live chat.
