"Is breakfast ready yet, I must be ready to get to the park and play with John and Joseph", says Charles with a smile from ear to ear.
He was very happy, because he, John, and Joseph, had all gotten their fathers to let them off of work on this day during each week. Each time this day came around the boys were very enthusiastic. It was a pain working in the farm from sunrise to sunset especially now that it was summer and the temperature was rising. All three of these boys were born on a farm, and were all 13 years old. This gave them something to talk about when they met up in the park. This park was located in the center of town, and wasn't usually crowded. You could hear it from blocks away. There were people yelling for something. Charles couldn't quite make out what it was, there were so many of them. There was a large group of people out in the park. They were protesting against the "Stamp Act". The group protesting was very large with about 100 or more people. Charles was about to go up and ask what this riot was all about. This is when John and Joseph showed up. They had showed up later than usual but Charles didn't mind. The three boys stared at the group and the group didn't take two looks at the boys. The group were getting larger by the minute. There were many people joining in in the
