The early college program is a unique opportunity that allows “ students to extend high school by one year in order to earn both their diploma and up to 62 college credits from Muskegon Community College (MCC) at no cost to the student.” To me, the opportunity provided by mcc would help me achieve my goal of obtaining a phD in astrophysics. To be able to have earned an associate's degree will put me ahead of other students in both time, money, and college experience. Both in school and in my personal time i am a creative individual. The main reason I attended St. Thomas University my freshman year was due to the fact that it was a free education. I can't afford college unless I earn scholarships to pay my way through school. My family doesn't have the money to send me off to out of state or private schools so I worked hard to earn the money on my own. The scholarship I earned at St. Thomas University was both academic and athletic.…

On seventh grade day, I got to look around the school, try the lunches, and was told lots about Mitty by the wonderful and caring staff. I enjoyed the rush of Monarch Madness.…

More recently, I was admitted into the Spanish National Honors Society and as an acolyte. The school I was placed showed a great deal of community in and through the school environment. The students showed a great deal of compassion and respect for one another, especially in the older grades. The students from multiple grades coming together to learn sign language and being able to present musical performances for the hearing impaired was very inspiring. I noticed all grades of students were very much involved with extra-curricular activities such as learning sign language specifically for one student, which had hearing and verbal struggles. This is my understanding of the students coming together to learn sign language to support the student.…
