Summary Of The Fantasy Novel 'The Unwanteds'

I read the Fantasy novel, The Unwanteds by Lisa Mcmann. The book is told from the point of view of 2 characters. Alex Stowe is one of the main characters he is an unwanted because he is very creative, Aaron Stowe is the twin of Alex and he is a wanted he is a military leader for Quill they are both 13 years old. Alex Stowe is Unwanted because of his creativity so this means he will be sent off to death, but when him and the other unwanteds arrive at the death farm it turns into this magical world called Artime, it’s filled with magical animals and other things. A couple of months later Aaron Stowe becomes one of the most powerful kids at the university. Quill has been preparing for a war for almost 50 years! I believe that this is the theme of the story because quill actually thinks the death farm is actually a death farm but it is actually the land of Artime. Another reason I believe this is because Artime has been hiding people in their world for about 5 years. Lastly, Alex thought Samheed was a bad person but he helped Alex out. The first reason I think that is the theme is, Quill actually thinks the death farm is just a death farm but it's actually Artime. One of the reasons is when Aaron Stowe wanted to see the death farm High Priest Justine didn’t know until she arrived at Artime. When they got to battle most of the Quillitary was surprised to see the unwanteds and Artime, because they’ve never seen them before. When Alex comes to visit Aaron, Alex’s takes him to the death farm but actually transforms into Artime. The second reason I think the theme is things are not always the way they seem is, because Artime has been hiding people for 5 years. Meghans brother is 18 years old and he has lived in Artime since he was 13 years old.
