Sora Ltd. and Namco Bandai both are credited as developers for the game, and for the first time, Sega is now in collaboration for the development of this project. For the first time, Sakurai isn't the only Lead Designer of the game, and Gregory McLeod, known for his fan game, Super Smash Flash and it's sequel, joined him as a Designer.
