The American Dream Research Paper

The moral foundation of the United States of America is a huge part of America today and in order to restore it to it’s original moral state, there would have to be a major overhaul of the way that we of American’s think and act toward situations. People who claim to be of Christian religion should be the examples of how we as American’s should act. If people were to believe that God was the reason that we are where we are, that we are incapable of living the “American Dream” without knowing the foundation of what the original people and their belief system, give God the glory for the position that we are in, and to be examples to others that the American Dream is not forgotten. By being obedient, they were acting in the same way as the people of the Old testament Israelites who were labeled as “People of God.” People of God are weird, normal and extraordinary in the heavenlies. Biblical examples include: Mary a virgin, Jesus a carpenter, all of the disciples had a normal day time job and then met Jesus and gave up everything, Ester was a queen and yet looked out for her people and risked her life, and so many other people did extraordinary things and yet in the heavenlies the things they did were “normal”. By the Pilgrims coming to America, they in turn were doing the most weird thing of their time and listening to the voice of God to leave everything that they knew to a land where they would have the freedom to read scripture and interpret it in the way they wished.
