The Hallucinations Of Mr. Butt Analysis

“Helping people is a good action”. These words are always in my heart. I believe helping people can make them joyful. Everything is not absolute. After I finished reading “The Hallucinations of Mr. Butt’s”, I realize that helping people also can annoy people. If all the people help people like Mr. Butt’s, helping will not be a good behavior. Actually, the reasons that Mr. Butt’s irritates people are that Mr. Butt’s has some unique personalities such as crazy mind, self- assumed thought and optimistic mood. Sometimes, Mr. Butt’s behaviors are ridiculous. For example, Mr. Butt’s was in trouble because he could not find Jones’s room. He was not flexible. He did not need to do like that. Using a sentence to describe Mr. Butt is that “The person who wants to pee is not urgent, but the person who takes chamber pot is urgent.” Another reason that Mr. Butt did that is because he is always feeling self- assumed. He believes that he is excellent in his friends’ mind. He thought his friends “always protecting against his little kindnesses” He thinks he is important, but the truth is he really displeases his friends. The most of his friends want to keep Mr. Butt away. Mr. Butt’s has done a lot of things, but he did not give a good expression to his friends. Moreover, he is optimistic. Mrs. Jones wanted to keep Mr. Butt’s away so, she suggested Mr. Butt’s should have a long trip. Mr. Butt’s did not think he already irritated Mr. and Mrs. Jones. However, Mr. Butt said: “it’s well worth anything I do. It more than repays.” To be honest, his thinking is positive, but it also reflects that he is kind of stupid. Author used irony to show that all the people know Mr. Butt is bothersome except himself. All in all, Mr. Butt;s pretty likes helping people, but he does not take a right way to help people because his crazy, self- assured and optimistic
