In the last week, media has shed light on the cases of Eric Garner, a black man who was videotaped being put in a chokehold by a white police officer that led to Garner’s death, and Tamir Rice, a twelve year old black child who was fatally shot by a white police officer while playing with a toy gun. It has been recently released that the police officer in the case of the death of Eric Garner was not
