Veterinarians like Dr. Patricia Mundy, have a fun and busy life. To accomplish where she is now she had to go through school for approximately 8 years. Being a vet takes much more knowledge than it takes to treat humans, according to Dr. Mundy. She treats animals from Dogs and cats to animals like birds and kangaroos. She currently is employed at Blue Pearl as an opthamologist. Ophthalmologists take care and do surgery on the eyes of animals. I think that the technology we have today is important to take care and make sure animals are healthy. Blue Pearl is an veterinarian clinic in, Brooklyn New york, that provides emergency vet services and specialty medicine for all animals. She works 50 or more hours a week and gets paid around $88,000
