Bringing Dogs to Work

Would bringing your dog to work be a bad thing. Some say it can be a great thing in the work place while others get discouraged at the very thought of the idea. Companies have been makes changes around America. Some are starting to open up to the idea of dogs or even other pets coming to the workplace with you. These companies have employees with mixed opinions on the subject. Although some people wouldnt like a pet in the work place others would like it tremendiously. There are claims to having a dog at work with you. Dogs in general help reduce stress,anxiety, and even sickness. Postive things about having dogs in the workplace range from more productivity, less turn around rate, employees may be willing to work longer hours, and with less stress or anxiety productivity can see a spike. With this changes in place many employees feel more satisfaction from working for that company.

Pets in the work place can cause many issues with employees who dont own pets. Issues such as being allergic, physical distress, phsychological distress, and even just the unsanitary side of things. Employees maybe worried about being bitten and being hurt by the dog resulting in company issues or lawsuits. Not everyone likes dogs or the fact that they may be a distraction for their fellow workers causing more breaks or less work being done. Being a mixed review of things positive and negative. Dogs can bring more happiness and satisfaction to employees of certain companies. Although other companies look at this subject with utter shock that its allow in other places of business. Stress at work is a big subject and dogs may help take away stress of some but may add some to employees who are allergic or scared of dogs. Although some people believe dogs to be unsanitary there are others who believe dogs will help in reduce missing work resulting in less sick
